Replace Broken pipe for the shower
Requested a licensed plumber to change out a bathroom sink faucet. I had already received a quote locally for 225 but no openings for a week, so I called Super Service Today for a quote. The person that came out worked up a quote to swap out the faucet ...for 661.00. I informed him that the local rate for plumbing repairs is 125/hour. The reason I posted unprofessional is because I asked him to email to me so I could review it while he was there. Instead, he handed me a tablet and asked me to sign the order before he would give me a copy of the order so that I could review it with my husband. I refused to sign it because it clearly stated that I was authorizing the work to be done. He then presented another document with the charge of $59 for coming out, which I signed. This company inflates their rates and doesn’t give you anything written and pressures you to sign. I would not recommend them for any services. Buyer beware.Read More...
The technician, Roy was professional, friendly and efficient.
Darren and Cameron, plumber and apprentice plumber responded to my request today for repair service for my forced hot water by gas furnace which stopped running. They immediately diagnosed and repaired the problem. I was so impressed with their knowledge ...and expertise that I had them evaluate and replace a gray water pump in my kitchen. They were able to access the local supply company and returned the same day and completed the job including a very nice clean up . They were professional, polite, knowledgeable and experts in the plumbing trade. I would certainly hire them again.Read More...
I was charged an emergency service fee just to have a technician come out in the late afternoon to look at my water heater. I was promised over the phone that we could start service right away. Instead, the water heater repair was then pushed to the next ...morning, and then pushed again when the technicians were late and then needed extra parts. I was out of hot water for over 20 hours, paid extra for emergency service, and still feel that I was charged a very high sum for all the work done. Overall bill came out to $4k for a new water heater installed into an existing system, with some swapping of connections to get things up to code, but still. Very pricey, late. At least the technicians were very professional. I wish Super Service Today would refund me part of the cost for the delays and the lack of emergency treatment for something which was an emergency and triggered an emergency dispatch.Read More...
