We are searching for a highly experienced and motivated Chief Financial Officer/Controller to lead our home service business finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in building and scaling businesses, and have in-depth experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the company’s financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis
- Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to achieve business objectives
- Partner with senior leadership team to drive profitable growth and improve operational efficiency
- Monitor financial performance, develop action plans to address gaps, and drive continuous improvements
- Manage and lead the finance team, including recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and accounting standards
- Participate in strategic business planning and other high-level decision-making processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
- CPA or other relevant certification preferred
- Experience in a high-level finance or accounting leadership role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
